Using A.I.D.S. to fight Cancer?

Leukemia sucks.  Any family or individual that has experienced it knows how bad it can really be.  That is why you will be incredibly happy to hear the amazing story of Emma.  Her doctors have come up with a potentially revolutionary new way to treat cancer.  I hope this video sounds as good to all of you as it did to me.

Yoga for the blind on Xbox kinect

Since going blind I really miss the ability to play video games.  They are not something I would play all the time, but when titles like Grand Theft Auto 4 and Modern Warfare came out I would put in my fair share of playing time.
One game that actually worked for me as a blind person was Wii sports bowling.  Although I needed help having my score read to me, it was a fun, social, physical, and competitive activity that I could participate in right in my own living room.  It is also extremely easy to learn so people were often  willing to bowl around, even if they had never played before.
Now I have just read the following article about a new yoga game for the Xbox 360 Kinect.  I don't own an Xbox, but if they are starting to develop blind accessible games, it may be worth purchasing if the library grows.  If you are interested in learning more about the new yoga game, visit the following link:

Gift of Sight

I saw this story on the channel 7 news the other night.  With all the terrible news out there today, this is a story that will put a big smile on your face.  It actually did bring tears of joy to my eyes (and Raya's as well)  Please take a minute to check it out and if you are inspired make a donation.  Every $11 will bring sight to a blind person in Ethiopia, thanks to  Dr. Geoffrey Tabin.
